The first session of the Rome conference on the Mediterranean and the Middle East in Rome next Thursday and Friday being attended by Italy's prime minister Paolo Gentiloni will center on a report on the threat posed to Europe by the Islamic State jihadist group and the Al-Qaeda terror network, the dangers of radicalization and the need for prevention, the parliament said.
The report's author, MP Andrea Manciulli, who is president of the Italian Delegation to the NATO Assembly, will present the report at the seminar, the parliament stated.
