Bomb disposal experts blew up a laptop case left at an internatioanal jewellery fair in Vicenza, northeast Italy on Friday, but found visiting cards, papers and a cellphone inside.
The bomb squad had cordoned off the area of the fair where the latop case was left before blowing it up in a controlled explosion.
A police bomb squad last week destroyed a suitcase left at one of Italy's leading male fashion fairs, Pitti Uomo, taking place in Florence.
The suitcase was left by the ticket office and was found to contain documents.
