Italy and the United States "speak with one, strong voice" and should deepen bilateral cooperation on issues from the Ukraine conflict to China, energy and climate, US secretary of state Antony Blinken said on Friday.
In comments to Italy's foreign minister Antonio Tajani at the start of a G7 ministerial meeting in Munster, Germany, Blinken said: "The US and Italy speak with one, strong voice about the democratic values we share."
Washington "wants to deepen current cooperation, from Ukraine to China, from energy to climate, on efforts towards peace and stability in the world," Blinken went on.
"None of these challenges can be tackled alone," Blinken underlined.
