Morocco's ambassador to Italy, Hassan Abouyoub will address a conference in Rome next week on the outlook for the Mediterranean region, the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) think-tank said on Tuesday.
The conference called 'Diagnosing the Mediterranean. Where is the Region Heading to in 2018?' will take place at Spanish School of History and Archaeology in Rome next Tuesday, IAI said.
The event will kick off with welcoming remarks by the Spanish School of History and Archaeology's director Fernando Garcia Sanz and a presentation of the Barcelona-based European Institute of the Mediterranean's Yearbook 2017, said IAI.
Silvia Colombo, the head of IAI's Mediterranean and Middle East Programme, will then chair a roundtable discussion whose participants include Abouyoub and professor of economics at the University of Florence Giorgia Giovannetti, according to the conference programme.
