Amid fears of an imminent Russian invasion of Ukraine, Italy's foreign minister is set to hold talks in Moscow with counterpart Sergei Lavrov in the coming days, after a visit to Kiev on Tuesday, according to state news agency Tass.
At a meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin on Monday, Lavrov mentioned he would have "contact" with Di Maio in the next two days according to Tass.
"Our colleagues are contacting me, tomorrow there will be Poland's foreign minister, and in two days Italy's foreign minister," Tass cited Lavrov as saying.
