Italy's Council of State government advisory body has won a contract to help Tunisia reform its administrative justice system through a twinning project that will focus training and institutional communication, the foreign ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The two-and-a-half-year project part is of Italy's increasing commitment to promoting cooperation projects between the administrative justice systems of Mediterranean countries, the statement said.
"The project will benefit from the experience Italy has in the field of the administrative telematic process (PAT) and in decentralisation on the basis of regional administrative courts," the statement added.
The awarding of the training project to the Council of State was made possible also thanks to support from the Italian embassy in Tunis and the foreign ministry, the statement concluded.
