Italy's foreign minister Luigi Di Maio and Republic of San Marino's secretary of state for foreign affairs, Luca Beccari, on Wednesday signed an agreement to boost cooperation between the two states, the foreign ministry tweeted.
"@luigidimaio meeting with the Foreign Affairs SoS of the Republic of San Marino, Luca #Beccari ended with the Memorandum of Understanding on consultations and enhanced cooperation," read the tweet.
"On the agenda: key bilateral issues and negotiations on Association Agreement with the European Union," the tweet added.
