Aerial views of stunning Italian landscapes at sunset feature in an exhibition of photos by prize-winning photographer Massimo Sestini that has opened in Hanoi, Vietnam, the Italian foreign ministry said in a statement.
The exhibition is on at the Museum of Ethnology and will run until 10 August. It was organised by the Italian Embassy in Hanoi and the Italian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, according to the statement.
Sestini took the striking shots of Italy's major cities and cultural sites - from its coasts to the Alps - while aboard an Italian police helicopter, the statement said.
Sestini’s photographs have already been on show at Italy's presidential Quirinale palace. The pictures made their international debut at the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow in March and the exhibition is due to tour several Asian cities, the statement added.
