A comprehensive European migration policy and the 12-13 November conference in Palermo on stabilising Libya were the focus of bilateral talks between Italy's foreign minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi and his Danish counterpart Anders Samuelsen, the foreign ministry said late on Tuesday.
Besides the Libya summit and migration, Milanesi and Samuelsen's talks in Rome covered the European Union's 2021-2027 budget and the final phrase of negotiations on Britain's withdrawal from the bloc in March next year, the foreign ministry statement said.
Milanesi and Samuelsen also discussed the upcoming meeting in Milan on 6-7 December of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), whose rotating chairmanship is held by Italy this year, said the statement.
Denmark's state secretary for trade, Susanne Hyldelund, also attended the talks, the statement added.
