Police arrested two people in the northeastern city of Barcelona for allegedly distributing propaganda for the Islamic State militant group via the Internet, Spain's interior ministry said Tuesday.
The suspects used several online identities to put jihadist home-made videos and official IS content online, the interior ministry said.
The ministry gave no immediate details on suspects' identities but said the operation was being spearheaded by the National Court in the capital, Madrid.
Spanish authorities have has arrested dozens of suspected jihadists and jihadist recruiters this year and is working to safeguard domestic targets from militant attacks.
