Italy's strategic partnership with Algeria, as well as regional crises including Libya and the Sahel were at the centre of phone talks Tuesday between premier Mario Draghi and the North African country's president Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
During their talks, Draghi and Tebboune also looked at "the prospects for the reforms underway in Algeria as well as upcoming appointments on the bilateral and multilateral agenda," according to a statement from Draghi's office.
