Police on Monday were searching for a gang of thieves who stole 50,000 euros from a cashpoint in northern Italy after drilling a hole in a wall from a bakery nextdoor.
The thieves late on Sunday used a blowtorch to open the cashpoint's safe at the bank in the northwestern city of Turin before escaping with the cash, police said.
The gang had broken into the bakery by forcing open a door and drilled through to the bank, according to police.
