The United Nations children's fund and Libya's internationally recognised government in Tripoli have agreed to improve school teaching and services in the war-wracked country, Unicef said in a statement on Wednesday.
The accord signed by Unicef and the UN-backed government's education ministry covers education for children and teenagers in the period 2019-2020, according to the statement.
The agreement aims to guarantee universal access to high-quality teaching for all minors and covers training for teachers and school staff, the statement said.
