Foreign minister Luigi Di Maio has urged citizens to vacation in Italy this summer, to aid its recovery from the economic ravages of the dramatic COVID-19 epidemic that hit the country earlier this year.
"This summer let's all help our country to get back on its feet. Let's do this by staying in Italy and choosing one of the many enchanting places that the entire world envies us for. Long live Italy!" Di Maio posted to Facebook.
