The rights of Italian residents in the UK and those of British citizens living in Italy after the UK's planned withdrawal from the European Union next month were at the centre of talks between Italy's foreign secretary Enzo Moavero Milanesi and his British counterpart Jeremy Hunt, the foreign ministry said in a statement late on Wednesday.
Britain intends to leave the EU on 29 March.
