The fight against the COVID-19 pandemic was at the centre of phone talks on Thursday between Italy's premier Giuseppe Conte and his Australian counterpart Scott Morrison, the prime minister's office said in a statement.
Besides COVID-19, Conte and Morrison's talks also focussed on regional and multilateral cooperation and on bilateral relations, according to the statement.
