Police said on Monday they impounded 434 kilogrammes of cocaine over the past two days in the Calabrian mafia bastion and transshipment hub of Gioia Tauro. Almost 1,600 kg of cocaine have been seized this year at the southern port, of which 600 kg in the past month, according to police.
