A total of 38 delegations are taking part in the international meeting on stabilising Libya which kicks off in Palermo on Monday, including from the African Union, Arab League, Word Bank and International Monetary Fund, sources at the Italian prime minister's office told Adnkronos.
At the close of the conference on Tuesday, Italy's premier Giuseppe Conte will hold a press conference, possibly with United Nationas special representative to Libya, Ghassan Salame, according to the sources.
A list of participants at the conference was not available to media.
Italy hopes that Libya's main power-brokers as well as key international players will attend the Palermo meeting.
