Italy's foreign minister Luigi Di Maio was on Thursday due to hold talks in Rome with his Libyan counterpart Najla Mohamed al-Mangoush, the foreign minstry said in a statement.
At the end of their meeting, which is taking place at 5pm local time, Di Maio and Mangoush will hold a joint media conference that will be streamed live on the foreign ministry's website, the statement said.
Mangoush became Libya's foreign minister on 15 March when premier Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh's unified interim government took power.
