The 2021 Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix taking place in the northern city of Imola from 16-18 April is "teamwork to showcase our country," foreign minister Luigi Di Maio tweeted.
Di Maio posted the tweet above the official poster for the Formula 1 race, which due to the COVID-19 pandemic replaces the postponed Chinese Grand Prix as the second round of the 2021 season.
The race is being promoted by the Emilia-Romagna region, the foreign ministry and Italy's trade and investment agency (ICE).
