The Islamic State kidnapped 20 members of tribe in the city of Mosul that is fighting the militant group in northern Iraq, Arabic language broadcaster al-Forat reported, citing sources speaking anonymously.
The fate and whereabouts of al-Jubour tribesmen is unknown, the sources were quoted as saying.
Only two days earlier, IS executed 22 members of the same tribe in Badush, west of Mosul.
The victims were executed in front of their families and relatives, a tribe member, sheikh Mehdi al-Jubouri, was cited as saying.
Heavily-armed IS militants took control of Mosul in June last year and have seized swathes of territory in Iraq and Syria.
Iraqi security forces, Kurdish fighting units and Shia and Sunni volunteers have been fighting to drive IS out of the areas overrun by the group.
