Authorities beheaded a convicted murderer in the Saudi capital Riyadh, the interior ministry said in statement cited by official news agency SPA on Wednesday.
Outaibi al-Motlaq was put to death for killing another member of his tribe, Matar al-Outaibi, during a dispute, SPA reported.
Al-Motlaq's execution brings to 136 the number of people put to death in Saudi Arabia this year.
Drug trafficking, rape, murder, apostasy and armed robbery are all punishable with death under the kingdom’s strict Islamic legal code.
Most executions are carried out by beheading but the firing squad is sometimes used.
