Global cooperation, shared vision and solidarity could transform the crisis triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic into a chance to transform the world, Italy's permanent diplomatic mission to the United Nations tweeted on Thursday.
"We need to turn this crisis into an opportunity to transform our societies. International cooperation, common vision and solidarity are key to succeed," read the tweet.
"The 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement will continue to be the pillars of our action," added the tweet referring to the UN's ambitious set of sustainable development goals and to its landmark 2015 climate pact.
