LONDON, January 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --

Now in its 7th year, Food Ingredients' Natural Colour Summit 2014 taking place on 25-27 March 2014 continues to address the hottest consumer priorities around health and wellness. With many equating 'natural' with 'healthy', natural colours and colouring foods are maintaining their rise in popularity. As one example, the US food additives market is projected to hit $5.8 billion by 2018, as a result of more rapid growth in upcoming years led by natural colour additive innovation, according to a new report from Packaged Facts*.

The Natural Colour Summit 2014 is dedicated to providing you with the insight you need to successfully incorporate natural colours and colouring foods into your products. Industry leaders from PepsiCo, Wrigley, Freedrinks Ltd (ZEO) and an FDA representative will address key challenges around evolving natural colour and colouring foods markets, essential consumer trends, recent global regulatory advancements, innovative ingredients solutions, advancements in natural colour stability and much more.

Last year, the Natural Colour Summit 2013 created a global buzz, with delegates coming from 30 different countries including the US, UK, Germany, Turkey, Colombia, Australia, Finland, Korea, India, and Israel. With over 140 manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and academics coming together, including industry giants such as Danone, Mars Chocolate, PepsiCo and Unilever, there was no other forum which came close in terms of networking and professional development opportunities.

Rebecca Robbins, Senior Colour Chemist from Mars Chocolate North America, exclaims, "The conference was extremely well organised, the topics were extremely relevant and the many breaks enabled many networking discussions. It was a very good conference!"

And this year, be sure not to miss the Post Summit Half-Day Workshop: Lessons From Beyond F&B where industries including F&B, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and textiles, who share a vested interest in natural colour stability, will learn valuable lessons from each other through inspiring case studies, technical colour stability sessions and interactive discussions.

The next meeting is happening on 25-27 March in the fresh location of Munich, Germany. Spaces are filling up fast, so visit http://www.fi-colour.com to book your place today.
