Exports of Italian goods to Armenia are on the rise and a raft of Italian companies are opting to invest in the country, premier Giuseppe Conte said on Friday after talks in Rome with his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan.
"The dynamism of the economic relationship between our countries is a matter of fact, which we can build on together," Conte said in remarks to journalists.
"Our exports are constantly increasing, and there are many other companies that are investing with mutual satisfaction in Armenia," Conte added.
The fact that commercial airlines are choosing to offer direct flights between Italy and Armenia shows they want a share of the growing business between the two countries, Conte argued.
During their talks, Conte and Pashinyan "ascertained together that bilateral relations are thriving thanks to constructive dialogue and a shared assessment of future prospects," he said.
