The junta in power in Mali has announced the dissolution of "political parties and political organizations" after having imposed their suspension in recent days. The decree of the President, General Assimi Goita, was read on television. The military in power, after two different coups, in 2020 and 2021, had previously repealed the Charter of Political Parties which regulated the operation, formation and creation of political forces.
