War-ravaged Libya, the situation in Taliban-controlled Afghanistan and the future of the North Atlantic Alliance were high on the agenda in talks between Italy's foreign minister Luigi Di Maio and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu on Tuesday.
"On the sidelines of the NATO Ministerial, @luigidimaio met with his Turkish counterpart, @MevlutCavusoglu, the foreign ministry tweeted.
"Italy-Turkey economic cooperation. Exchange of views on the future of the Alliance, Libya and Afghanistan," the tweet added.
Di Maio and Cavuso held talks during a NATO foreign ministers taking place in Riga, Latvia on Tuesday and Wednesday.
