Russia's war on Ukraine, Libya and the fight against terrorism were set to be the focus of talks in Washington between Italy's foreign ministry secretary-general, Ettore Sequi, and senior US government officials, the ministry said in a statement on Friday.
During his visit, Sequi was due to hold talks with deputy secretary of state Wendy Sherman and defence under-secretary Colin H. Kahl. Sequi will also mull the Ukraine crisis, the future of transatlantic relations and ties with China in meetings with analysts from top US think-tanks, the statement noted.
